Historic Site

Follow in the footsteps of a legendary frontiersman. The homestead, on 579 acres of rural countryside, includes the Boone House, restored and furnished with an outstanding collection of period Pennsylvania furniture, tools and farm implements.

Hours of Operation

Beginning March 9, 2020:

Monday:  9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Gates Open/Grounds Only
Tuesday:  9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Gates Open/Grounds Only
Wednesday:  9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Gates Open/Grounds Only
Thursday:  9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Gates Open/Grounds Only
Friday:  9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Gates Open/Grounds/Visitor Center and Historic Buildings Open
Saturday:  9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Gates Open/Grounds/Visitors Center and Historic Buildings Open
Sunday:  9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Gates Open/Grounds/Visitors Center and Historic Buildings Open

Gates will be closed (and locked) to vehicle traffic promptly at 4:00 PM

The grounds are open for pedestrian use from sunrise to sunset.
